Simply Slender tastes absolutely disgusting. Never in my life have I tasted something so repulsive! You are MUCH better off making the master cleanse yourself. Here is the recipe. Personally I say leave out the cayenne pepper or put a lot less than the recipe calls for, because the cayenne pepper RUINS the taste & is extremely overwhelming. & One last thing this diet is A LOT harder than it seems.#1 (single serving): * 2 Tablespoons of organic lemon Juice (about 1/2 a Lemon) * 2 Tablespoons of Organic grade B maple syrup (not the commercial maple flavored syrup you use on pancakes) * 1/10 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper powder * Ten ounces of filtered water#2 (60 oz. daily serving): * 60 ounces of filtered water * 12 Tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup * 12 Tablespoons of organic lemon juice * 1/2 Teaspoon cayenne pepper powder

THIS IS VERY CLOSE TO WHAT MADIFAST USES FOR THEIR CLEANSING BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO MIX IT, THE TASTE WITH WATER IS FAIR, I USED IT 48 HRS AND DROPPED 5 LB, I WOULD RECOMEND USING THE 48 HR ONCE A MONTH SO ONE BOTTLE WOULDE LAST TWO MONTHES

It has a great taste. I can easily drink it because of this. It works also real well. I have tried to make my own 'Lemon Cleanse" at home with lemons, maple syrup, etc. This is more convenient. Easy to follow directions. Cheaper through Amazon than in a health food store. I HIGHLY recommend it.
