It helps, but won't do the work for you

I've tried dieting with it and without it. Dieting with Hydroxycut definitely produces faster and better results. But then I went on vacation for a week, suspended my diet but still took Hydroxycut, and didn't lose or gain any weight. All in all, it multiplies the effort you put in, but it's not a magic weight loss pill. If you want fat to magically disappear from your body, get liposuction. If you want to amplify the effects of your diet and exercise, get Hydroxycut.

All depends on who you are.

I should first say that I'm in relatively decent shape. I'm active during the day and weekends. However, I just happened to suffer from that "last 20 pounds syndrome" most white collar workers face by staying active during the day yet coming home to beer and burgers after work. As such, I really cannot attest to the results of someone who is obese, but I can give my experience as someone who just needed a little help losing those last few pounds. And for me, it worked!Granted, I stuck to a strict reduced calorie diet full of fruits, vegetables, protein shakes, and lean meats, with absolutely no cheating. But with virtually no actual exercise routine, I was still able to shed the first stubborn 10 pounds in about two weeks. By that time, I was already in a routine of dieting and pill taking, so it was easy to stay on track to lose the last ten pounds in just a short while later.Essentially, Hydroxycut isn't going to just melt your fat away. The whole real point of the product is to act as a hunger suppressant while simultaneously smacking you with extreme amounts of caffeine in order to stay awake since you're not taking in as many calories. And to that effect, I'd rate this higher than most other hunger suppressant products. The biggest difference being in that other products I have tried in the past, they literally turned me off from eating because the effects were so strong that I felt too full to even eat a sensible meal. But with Hydroxycut, I have no problem eating regularly if I feel like it and can still eat normally if I wish; the difference is just that I no longer feel the need to just snack on something when I'm bored because I'm always "satisfied."The reason for the three star rating however is because of the caffeine. I'm the kind of person that usually isn't sensitive at all to caffeine; I can chug down a couple energy drinks, coffee, soda, and other stuff in a day and still sleep like a baby at night. But with Hydroxycut, I suffered from major over-alertness, sometimes staying up until the morning and heading to work without even sleeping. These effects tapered off as I reduced the suggested amount of pills to 4 a day instead of the 6, but I still had the occasional nights where I absolutely could not sleep, and then crashed sometime during the day.If you take anything away from this, just know that Hydroxycut isn't a magic pill. It's not a rocket science to losing weight; you just eat sensibly and burn more calories than you consume. And for that, Hydroxycut has the potential to get you there by curbing pretty much everyone's biggest problem with weight loss, over-eating and snacking. Even without busting your butt at the gym, Hydroxycut may possibly help you shed some weight at the cost of plenty of sleepless nights.

First of all, this is a great deal to get 2 for this price.However, I did not see the weight loss that others talked about while using this product. I followed the directions, and I ate 3 moderate meals a day (although this made me never feel hungry). But there was no weight loss.I DID have energy. Tons of it. The first couple days I was a little jittery but that is probably because I kept drinking coffee. If you are sensitive to caffeine definitely be careful and maybe start with one pill for the whole day until you adjust. I didn't have any other side effects, but was thirsty a lot and drank lots and lots of water.
