I have used this product in the past and satisfied, so after a few years of not using carb control from any brand, I decided to go back to Swanson directly, onlined and ordered this same product. Once the product arrived, I flipped the bottle over to read the backside label and saw that this product was dated 12/11, I was so very disappointed, I had ordered items from Amazon and also Puritan Pride in the last few weeks and they came with expiration date of 2015 and 2016, so I sent an email to Customer Service at Swanson, explaining all of this, and the reply was, I did not ask for new product, excuse me, I didn't know there was a reason to do, to me, that is the rule, send new product, not out of date, or close to expiration, there was no blank saying new or old, duh, so the next day I called and talked to a live voice, this Customer Service Rep told me that sometimes people send products back and they are place on line for shipment, well duh, I don't want someone's rejects, so to me I guess they repackaged this bottle and shipped to me, I ask for a refund and also shipping charges, but again was told, after I send the product back I would get my money for the product but doubtful for shipping charges, End of story, end of ordering from Swanson, I should have ordered from Amazon, the #1 company for Customer Service, always tried and true for me.
