5-HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan) is a naturally-occurring amino acid extracted from the seeds of Griffonia simplicifolia plant. It is a chemical precursor as well as metabolic intermediate in the biosynthesis of the neurotransmitters serotonin and melatonin from tryptophan. The mood enhancing action of 5-HTP is thought to be derived from its effect on the production of serotonin in the central nervous system tissue.

As Promised

This 5-HTP is great for enhancement of memory and brain function. It's literally brain food. It helps me to focus and recall things much easier.-better memory-faster response-better coordination-more confidence-more efficiency at workThose are just a few of the highlights. I am thoroughly pleased when using 5-HTP. Pairing the 5-HTP with Mucuna Pruriens just takes things to a whole additional level; 100 Grams (3.53 Oz) Mucuna Pruriens 99% L Dopa Bulk Powder. It makes my overall mentality better. I feel happier, less stressed, and as a result the benefits of the 5-HTP are enhanced. I also feel that it helps me in the bedroom and when it comes to dreams which is amazing. I've never been able to recall my dreams before but now I can. I'm very pleased.

A safe, effective alternative

5-HTP's goal is to create more Serotonin in your nervous system. Serotonin is a key element in the nervous system so naturally it makes the whole thing happier. A happier nervous system means you'll be happier, less anxious and be able to sleep better.This is a safe, effective alternative to SSRI medication, which inhibits the re-uptake of Serotonin to cause an increased level of active Serotonin. This is the same end result that you get from 5-HTP however SSRI medications are much more dangerous. A bigger issue with SSRIs is that they have never been proven to actually work. That's right, studies on SSRIs have shown repeatedly that not only do very few patients actually benefit, a lot of them get -worse-.Nutrigold's 5-HTP simply feels much more professional and high-quality than most other bottles of 5-HTP on Amazon. The capsules don't smell, and they're the perfect size. The bottle is very well sealed - plastic around the cap, a freshness seal inside and a cotton ball on top of the capsules. The shipping packaging was meticulous and came with a little product catalog. After all of that, it's also very well priced.If Nutrigold carries a product that I'm wanting to buy in the future, I will most certainly buy it from them.

I researched 5 HTP and found this company had the best product and was free of extra fillers that are found in the usual vitamins. I have been on the product for a week now and have noticed a big difference in my mood and general clarity. Especially find I am sleeping better and have not used a sleeping aid since I started 5 HTP.
