Product Description
The research department at OL has developed a new formulation to support a healthy diet and weight maintenance program. FucoGreen is a combination of clinically studied ingredients including fucoxanthin, green tea extract and hoodia gordonii. Recently, researchers at Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan demonstrated that fucoxanthin was effective in stimulating uncoupling protein 1 (UCP1) in laboratory animals. The UCP1 protein (also known as thermogenin) regulates the activity of a key gene responsible for the body’s temperature control and is responsible for stimulating the breakdown of stored fat. In these clinical studies on laboratory animals, fucoxanthin supplementation resulted in a 5 to 10 percent reduction in weight. It is likely that fucoxanthin increases the UCP1 protein by boosting the metabolic rate within the fat cell so that it burns more fat. (1) These initial studies from Japan spawned two new, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trials by Russian scientists involving 150 obese women. What the Russian scientists hypothesized was that fucoxanthin appeared to have strong thermogenic (fat burning) properties, especially on stored fat and, in particular, on white adipose (fat) tissue in the abdomen. The initial findings from these studies were truly amazing. Those who received fucoxanthin lost an average of 14.5 pounds in just sixteen weeks, versus those who received the placebo pill, who lost only 3 pounds. Additionally, those taking fucoxanthin also raised their metabolic rate an average of 18.2%and had body fat losses averaging 11.8 pounds, compared to 2.8 pounds in the placebo group. Simple results: 450% greater weight loss and 422% greater fat loss!

helps lower appetite and helps weight loss

I just ordered these again, as they helped me lose 10 pounds over the spring months. Then I stopped taking them, but I'd like to lose a little more, so I've reordered Fucogreen. I think this time I'll take just two capsules a day instead of three, as I don't mind losing weight slow and steady. They did make me jittery in the beginning. I was also taking all three at once in the beginning, better take them one at a time I guess. And I was just less interested in food, got full faster, and felt fine.I don't know any other weight loss pills, so I can't compare. But they work for me.Follow-up review:After using this almost regularly for a year I'm going to lower the review to 4 stars.Fucogreen is ok, but I don't know that it deserves a 5-star review.My results: My weight is steady in a pretty good range.I thought it would be easier to keep the weight off.

Well not sure

I tried two at a time and they made me feel hot and weird so I tried taking one 3x a day faithfully for three weeks. Lost not a single pound. It says take 3 at once but couldnt do it so....it does something...but didnt cause weight loss....

I didn't notice a huge difference using this product, but I believe it has some appetite suppressing qualities. Besides, I believe it to be a good and healthy product, with the natural fiber content and all. I have made it part of my daily dozen.
