I am a fitness nut and I have done a lot of research on nutrition and supplements. While I am not an expert in the field, I have noticed that Doctor's CarbRite Carb Blocker really works, and not just for starchy carbohydrates!!! If you follow the suggested use and take it approximately 25 minutes prior to a carbohydrate-rich meal, you will notice an increase in bowel movements in the next 24 hours. It basically acts as fiber (well, it contains fiber...). The product inhibits the enzymes in your intestines that are responsible for absorbing carbohydrates, hence why you need to give it time to inhibit them before you eat; on the label it is stated that it can neutralize up to 38g of carbohydrates per meal (if you take the recommended serving of 2 tablets).I highly recommend this product, but I wouldn't take it on a daily basis. It's great for holiday feasts or larger meals, so I take it to maintain my body composition during those times. Your body needs carbohydrates to function properly. If you plan on having a large bowl of pasta or cake for dinner, take it! If you have oatmeal for breakfast or a starchy side for lunch (in moderation), skip this supplement - your body will use those carbohydrates up before the end of the day. I noticed that the times I took it often, 2-3 times/day, a few days in a row, I had a constant bloat and some cramping... But when I take it once/day, 1-2 days per week, I have no problems.Please consult with your doctor prior to taking this supplement.

I order doctors carb block usually 1 or 2 bottles at a time-- this last time ordered 6 bottles but didn't catch the size of the bottle - bottle was 60 tablets not 120 tablets like I usually get so not as good a deal as I thought but is still a good product and very convenient to order on line thru Amazon

I wasn't sure about these because I read so many bad reviews about other carb blocker products. I used the whole bottle and I am fixing to order again. I does work! It kept carbs staying in my body. I am dropping pounds slowly.
