It works...but self motivation matters the most

From the beginning I am not a big fan of weight loss pills. However with the situation, changes the perception. When I came to know about Alli some 2.5 months back, idea behind Alli pills made me curious to use this product. The idea was pertty simple. Unwanted Fat in your food, Alli will throw it out. However I must say if you are on weight loss regime, pill wont help much. You have to have your daily share of physical excercise everyday. I took this as a challenge and I continued Alli along with regular excercise. Alli put a check on my unwanted fat where as excercise worked as a catalyst for my weight loss. Now I weigh almost 22 pounds less what I used to be some 2.5 months earlier and suddenly whole world started looking rosy to me again. Given the fact that, my self-motivation is one of the prime reasons of my weight loss, still I cannot take away credit from Alli. Thanks Alli.

It works. Period.

Alli is not a phony "diet pill". It was a prescription medication for the treatment of obesiety eventaully approved by the FDA for over-the-counter sales. It was approved because it was determined an overdose would not a serious health risk. Alli works by simply not allowing your body to absorbed about 25% of the fat eaten in while the medication is active in your system. The instruction state to take it before eating. I found it most effective taking 4 per day; morning, mid-day, afternoon, and early evening. Having the medication always active in my system meant nothing I ate was outside of the medications life time in my system.There is 1 warning - it's called an alli-oops. And they mean it. A greasy, orange, foul smelling discharge will leak out of your body. It will stain fabric. leak into cushionyt surfaces, and the odor, if it happens on a couch, chair, car seat, will be very difficult to remove. Unlike a regular bowl movement or even diarreah, it can hardley be foreseen, cannot be "held in", and happens very quickly. The cause of the discharge is eating a larger amount of fat than is recommend on a healthy diet. A hamburger, milkshake, fishsticks, potatoe chips, etc. can make this happen. Yes, it happened to me and the fear of it happening again caused me to avoid almost all fat while taking Alli.Not wanting to waste the money I spent, I did 30-60 minutes of walking on a treadmill several times each week and kept almost all fat out of my diet. I lost 90 pounds in 18 months.Yes, Alli works and is worth the money if you are willing to take it every day.
