But first, be aware...Advocare's products contain 300% of the RDA Niacin-- that's toxic folks. If you start flushing and have rashes, your body is reacting to too much Niacin. Regular use of Advocare will product these common Niacin side effects which include... Liver toxicity Worsened glycemic control in diabetics Aggravated ulcers Irregular heart beat Headaches Increased risk of gout Liver inflammation Increased liver enzyme productionFYI - Here are the things about the 24 day challenge that may help you save money:1. Herbal Cleanse. Amounts to a Metamucel equivalent. Save your money and buy your laxatives at Walmart.2. Omega Plex. Again, save some money and buy fish oil.3. Spark. Have 1 cup of coffee or a diet Dew.4. Meal replacement shakes. Put a scoop of the $14 prtein along with a cup of skim milk and banana and blend. It tastes a lot better and has more protein.5. MNS - instead, have a cup of greek yogurt and some almonds.6. Probiotics...Have some more yogurt and dairy.Summary; The reason people lose weight is because if you follow this plan, you can not have alcohol, you cut out all refined carbs and it recomends you workout 30 minutes 5 to 6 days a week which most people that start this challenge are not currently doing.The directions state NO coffee so you have to purchase the Spark for your morning caffiene fix. Also NO dairy so you have to purchase ProBiotics. Also NO alcohol at least in the first 10 days. There are many people that drink every night and by cutting alcohol it saves 300-600 calories daily.Finally, there is a reason why Advocare always recommends taking their products along with additional products: because one can't get the job done alone.

I've lost over 45 lbs using these products, and I feel better than ever. The person with the niacin comment has several facts wrong. A) 300% RDA of Niacin is by no means toxic, toxicity starts at around 40,000 to 100,000 percent (1500 to 6000 mg), you would have to consume 133 days worth of the metabolic nutrition system to achieve those effects. That's in the ballpark of 450 dollars worth. No one would do that. Not to mention, the toxic effects are dermatological irritation, nothing severe. B) it's 225% that's hugely different tha. 300%.The only thing I have against this is that Advocare distributors are forbidden to sell on ecommerce sites. Only order from the Advocare site through your distributor or by in person retail from a distributor you know

Felt horrible

I understand the first 10 days was a detox and a headache and body aches were to be expected, but this had nothing but a negative effect on me. I bought it based on great reviews and results from friends. Unfortunately, It was just not for me.
