Tastes better than USA product

I ordered the barley grass directly from Star West that is grown and produced in the USA. YUCK BITTER :( So I went back to the barley grass from China. It tastes OK. and the price is right. Even though I buy at wholesale from SW getting it here was cheaper and free shipping.

Mixed my own green powder

I bought this product to make my own green powder to put in my smoothies. I added equal amounts of spirulina, chlorella, kelp, wheat grass and barley grass. The cost of my mixture ended up being twenty dollars per pound, which is way cheaper than other pre-mixed organic green powders you can purchase, and without any fillers.I was really happy with the quality of this product, and started using 2 tsp of my mixture in my morning smoothies. The first couple of days I experienced headaches and dizzyness, but after this "health crisis" was over, I increased to 1 Tbsp/day with no ill effects. I now have increased energy and haven't gotten sick with colds/flu my family and coworkers have.My smoothie consists of: flax milk, banana, berries, oat bran, vanilla protein powder, and my green powder. The "green" flavour is not overpowering at all.

Great price, organic, and not bad smelling

Wonderful organic barley grass powder equivalent to wheatgrass powder in health benefits. Just be careful--it is powder and will go everywhere. Not much on the label but 1 Tablespoon twice a day is the most you should use mixed in something like a smoothie.
