--survived longer

I got a bottle of these when I made the choice not to treat our 18 yr. old cat that had agressive cancer. Our vet gave her a month of quality life before the cancer would take over. I choose to maintain her quality of life as long as possible with pain medication and figured this product couldn't hurt. The capsule is rather large for a cat to be dosed with so I coated it with a paste of tubed Nutri-cal supplement to slide down better. The dose suggested was 1/2 capsule twice a day yet that is pretty much impossible given the substance inside is powder. --placing it in food didn't work 'cause my cat refused to eat the food that way. Good news is my cat did well on it. She actually suffered no noticable effects of the cancer for several months despite the vet's prediction of a month at most. In the end I had her 'put down,' but this product (I believe) gave me more time with her without her suffering. She was able to do what she loved longer without chemo. The vet stated even if I had selected chemo I could have expected perhaps 6 months with her. As it was, I got 4 quality months. I actually had to buy more of this product than I orginally thought -- 'cause I believed one bottle and my Sassy would be gone. In addition, I had more pain meds to get 'cause the vet indicated Sassy wouldn't be with me very long. However, she did well longer than thought so this product helped make her life better longer...grateful for that.
