Genesis Today's Pure Green Coffee Bean with Svetol® is an especially effective supplement containing two types of raw, unroasted green coffee bean extract for double the impact. It is standardized to contain a potent blend of chlorogenic acids combined with other natural active compounds, which are clinically proven to promote healthy weight control, fat loss and blood sugar levels. This combined polyphenol-rich green coffee bean extract is high in antioxidants and low in caffeine, which supports cardiovascular function and weight management without the jitters associated with overstimulation. Green coffee beans contain chlorogenic acids (CGAs), naturally occurring compounds believed to be the most powerful, polyphenolic antioxidants in coffee beans. CGAs that have been found to prevent oxidative damage to blood vessels while supporting healthy blood pressure and homocysteine levels. Research suggests that the mechanism of action for weight loss is with the effect of chlorogenic acids. Matches Dr Oz requirements

Seems to match everything Dr Oz wants in a green coffee bean extract! Yeah! Finally found it. There are a lot of products out there claiming to be the ones Dr Oz promotes but if you go into his website he gives you a list of requirements which I'll paste below. Don't get mislead and waste money on the wrong item.Pasted from website:With this promising study, many companies and websites have prized this supplement - even marketing similar fat-burning substances of their own. However, the consumer should always beware when buying unregulated supplements online. When purchasing supplements, make sure you look at the list of ingredients. When looking for a green coffee bean supplement, it should contain the chlorogenic acid extract, which can be listed as any of the following:GCA® (green coffee antioxidant)Svetol®Also, look for a capsule that contains at least 45% chlorogenic acid. More than 45% is okay, but pills with less than this amount have not been tested in studies that demonstrate weight loss. If you are going to take green coffee bean, the recommended dosage is 400mg, three times a day - 30 minutes before each meal. However, some clinical trials have also demonstrated success with 200mg.If the bottle doesn't list ingredients, don't buy it! On the ingredient list, you should see no fillers and no artificial ingredients. Also, don't be fooled by the word "pure" if you see it on a label. If you see the word "pure," and you don't see Svetol® or GCA®, consider another choice.

I think it works

I've been taking these Genesis Green Coffee Bean Extracts for about 2 months now. I actually went the first 3 weeks taking a fake one from NatureWise and saw no results. I tried testing the taste of both the NatureWise and Genesis' version by opening up the capsule and tasting the powder to see how bitter it was. The Genesis one was definitely bitter and the NatureWise was actually sweet. Another validation that I experienced was when I burped, it tasted like really black coffee. So it seems all real stuff.As far as results, I've been using this product along side dieting and exercising mildly. I go to the gym about 3-4 times a week (wasn't really good about it. skipped a few times) for an hour doing weights and cardio and such. I also do kendo twice a week. I only drink water and I eat very cautiously. Before all my meals I take 2 of these guys about 15-30 mins prior. Sorry about all this description, I'm trying to provide as much information so that the effectiveness could be explained a bit. So I've been doing all this since August (about 3 months now) and I've went from 196 to 177 lbs. Almost 20 lbs so far! I've been sick and not able to go to the gym for the past week and a half and I've still been able to lose weight throughout this period. Which leads me to believe that it helps a little :D Hope this helps! Good luck!

I bought the original version of this product at my local health food store. i questioned the label, but the store assured me Genesis Today was changing the label to reflect the true ingredients. I take 2 tabs (400mg each) twice a day. I have been on it for 2.5 weeks. It kills my appetite, I have felt my clothes fit loose in the first week. for those who cannot lose weight, what is your carb intake? are you diabetic and have glucose impairment, do you drink alcohol? all of this affects glucose production and breakdown, that could be one of the reasons the results are not seen, I saw it in inches, not weight. for those who are not medically challenged, fairly healthy, I recommend taking it first thing in the morning and then performing cardio or simple brisk walking for a good 20 minutes on an empty stomach. the energy you will use will come from stored fat, and I believe this product will help you burn more by providing more energy and increased metabolism. not only will you lose weight with this daily activity, but you will lower your LDL and raise your HDL. I read the research, and they are quite promising.
