No flush Niacin!

I had bought Slo-Niacin for my husband and he still had a little flush from it. We bought this one and he has absolutely no flush. It's perfect.

I've been taking timed released niacin for cholesterol reduction for about 20 years and this is the only product that I've found that does the job. Others either do not reduce cholesterol or produce serious flushing. BTW, this alone is insufficient. It is also important to consume oat BRAN and to reduce your fat intake to reduce your cholesterol. (re "The Eight Week Cholesterol Cure") And of most importance is your liver. For some, high doses of niacin are toxic. So get a liver test before taking this!

Tablets vs Capsules.........

I will start by saying that I find all Carlson products to be of very good quality, and recommended by my doctor, so when I find them at a good price, I usually buy them. I decided to try the tablets as they were less costly, and the same doseage. All I can tell you it that they are more difficult to swallow, and taste terrible, but you get over it, so for the savings I found it worthwhile to buy them. Needless to say when I find capsules on sale, or at a good price, I am all over it.
