One of the best decisions I've ever made for myself.

-If you want to read about just the product, skip to Benefits-I’ve noticed a lot of the reviews here are pretty brief, so I thought I should write in detail exactly what people should expect from this precise product, based on, well, Me. First, let’s start off with a little background for perspective. I’m a 31-year-old male with a history of obesity since my late teens. I’ve always hovered in the region of being 60-70 pounds over my ideal weight, but I never took it very seriously until I got married eight months ago. Ever since then my goal has been to get healthy so I can grow old with my lovely wife and newborn son.This whole weight-loss journey started after our honeymoon. We went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and had an entire two weeks of activities planned. The itinerary included snorkeling, parasailing, horseback riding, clubbing, swimming, and a few other things. Keep in mind I’m normally the furthest thing from what you’d consider an active guy, so all of this really added up quickly and took a toll on me. I noticed that I was unable to keep up, and the entire process would usually have to slow down to accommodate me. My wife -- who is in much better shape than I -- was a great sport, but I went home feeling quite ashamed.After flying home I decided to get a full physical to get an idea of what exactly was going on with my body. To my dismay, I found out that I have extremely high cholesterol, coupled with elevated blood pressure and below average lung capacity. The doctor told me that if I stayed on my current path I’d be shaving decades off of my life, and so I decided it was time for a change.In September of 2012, at my doctor’s suggestion, I began a diet and exercise journal to help mark my progress and motivate me along the way. My initial weight at 5’9” was 223 pounds. I started off by restricting my calories to 1700 per day and walking or jogging at least a mile a day. After a month I weighed in at 216. It kept me motivated, but I didn’t see the progress as being fast enough, so I decided to search around for some supplements. After asking my friends and coworkers, one of them mentioned that their wife had just used something called raspberry ketones and lost a lot of weight. I was intrigued, and after doing some web-searches on how it works, I decided to make my first purchase. Wow, reading this back it has become a sort of rant, so I’ll start getting to the actual review.Benefits:I first began taking them at 800mg/day in October, but didn’t notice any weight loss results right away. What I did notice, however, was that they would raise my energy levels quite a bit. Like I said, I had been walking or jogging a minimum of one mile per day, but that would normally exhaust me quite a bit. Within a day or two of taking these supplements, I noticed that I had much more “fuel left in the tank” whenever I’d get home. Within the first week I was able to start consistently jogging instead of walking, and that was a great boost as well. Once my body got adjusted to the new routine I had, the actual results started coming in. I’d wake up and take my dose with breakfast, and by the time I finished eating I’d already start to feel a sort of energetic tingle run through me. The only way I could describe it would be my body feeling antsy to get something done. About an hour after that I noticed that my mood would begin to pick up and I’d start smiling for no reason, so to speak. It was just all around a great sensation, no other way to phrase it.By the end of November I weighed in and measured a grand 206 pounds. All of that happening within a month was pretty intense for me. It was around this point that I had an idea that my body was possibly just feeling better because I was generally in better shape, so I decided to cut out my ketones for a week and see what happened. Immediately I noticed that I wasn’t able to finish my routine with as much ease as before, and I was feeling quite tired afterwards. The mood shift sort of remained, but that general pleasant buzz was practically gone. After conducting the experiment myself, I was absolutely sure these things were helping me out so I started taking them again.By the end of the year I was down to 198, and sitting here typing this right now I weigh in at a cool, light, and feathery 187 pounds! I didn’t end up adding any strength training to my routine as my initial goal was weight loss, and I’m not some muscular toned guy, but I look and feel fantastic. My wife can’t believe the progress that I’ve made, and I feel as though I’m an entirely new man. These pills really helped change my life.Downsides:Now, despite all the good it has done me, this product does have some downsides and I’d feel guilty if I only speak about the goods. First off, not many people may want to talk about this, but it really “regulates” your digestive system. I think a large part of how it works is making you more efficient on the inside, but the drawback to this is that when you need to go, you need to go. I never had many problems with this, and I can’t say I even came close to an accidental discharge, but the sudden need to find a restroom right now was and is a bit disconcerting at times.Another thing is that it really plays around with your appetite. There are times where you just don’t feel like eating, and even the thought of eating begins to sound like a chore. Now, some people may find this to be a benefit, but to me it was somewhat of an annoyance. My issue with weight wasn’t that I couldn’t keep myself from eating; it was that I had no particular issues with my image so I had no incentive to try. Cutting back on the calories was relatively easy; the issue sort of became keeping up with the calories. I was prescribed Ritalin when I was younger, and the best way I could describe the feeling is like being on Ritalin. Not all the time, but I would say about 20% or so. The rest of the time it didn’t really get in the way.Summary:Overall, I’m extremely happy with the results I got from raspberry ketones. I’ve lost 36 pounds, am in the best shape of my life, and did it all without any drastic changes. It’s all just absolutely incredible. Anyways, sorry for the rant, but I hope this helps someone else out there!

40lbs in 5 months

I've taken PURE Raspberry Ketones for the past five months and I've lost as close as makes no difference 40 lbs. I should mention I have a really slow metabolism, so to me that's a huge deal. I don't feel so big or bloaty anymore, and as embarrassing as it may sound, I'm not as... flatulent anymore either. Couldn't be happier with the results so far.
