Regardless of what Dr. Oz says, this is not the magical pill that does what diet and exercise only can do. I found that it does function as a hunger suppressant, but it, in and of itself, caused no weight loss for me!

I haven't purchased a weight loss supplement in at least 10 years, probably since the hydroxycut craze in highschool. I happened to see these mentioned on a Friends Facebook page and decided to do some research. I was drawn to the fact that they are natural with no side effects (I am very easily effected by medication and caffeine), so decided on a whim to give it a try.Over the past year my weight has steadily increased a pound or two per month, no matter how much I tried to change my eating habits or started to work out. It was like my metabolism had just paused (I'm 28). The person at GNC said these can take a month to work - not for me. IMMEDIATELY I noticed a difference in my appetite, I was full much faster and I wasn't craving sugar like I normally do.The first week I lost a solid 3 pounds, then about 2 pounds a week for the next 2 weeks. Then I plateaued a bit - also Memorial Weekend vacation was filled with unhealthy food choices and lots of food - but only 1lb gained. I just increased to taking one with every meal (3 per day), and now have started to lose a bit more weight.It's not a miracle pill - but what it did do is help curb sugar cravings, minimize my appetite, and give me the drive again to lose weight (after being discouraged from a year of only gaining no matter what I did).I typically have a smoothie or green juice for breakfast, salad for lunch, and then a healthy dinner - but as an event planner there are definitely days where I'm at networking events and eat whatever is there. I haven't added working out back in yet either, so hopefully once I start to hit the gym I'll see even more success! I still have 10 lbs to go (9 down so far in 5 weeks).
